Job title: HR Administrator

Location: 23a 2nd Avenue Parktown North Parklands, Johannesburg, 2193

Reporting to: HR Manager

Overview:

DDK is an expert merchandising partner to a renowned leader in the beverage industry. At DDK, we aim to deliver merchandising that moves product. We ensure that The Coca-Cola Company’s products feature prominently on the shelves, moves from the shelf into the consumers’ baskets and is replaced with an equally dynamic and well positioned product display.

Responsibilities:

  • General HR Administrative Duties:
    • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager
    • Organize, compile, update Company Employee records and documentation
    • Being the first point of contact for Employees on al HR related queries
    • Confirmation of Employment Queries & Letters
    • Preparing and amending HR Documents as requested by HR Manager from time to time
  • Leave Administration
    • Collate, summarise & submit all Leave Form information to Payroll on a monthly basis
    • Updating Leave Databases internally such as Sick, Annual & Maternity Leave
  • New Employees
    • Collate, summarise & submit all New Employee information to Payroll on a monthly basis
  • Change of Bank & Email information
    • Collate, summarise & submit all Change of Bank, Deductions & Email information to Payroll on a monthly basis
  • Administrative Duties re Employees Terminated (Resign, Death, Dismissal etc.)
    • Update & communicate the Payroll Monthly Spreadsheet in order to ensure the Employee’s services as terminated on the Payroll System within at least two months of the last date of service
    • Ensure that the Employee’s final Annual Leave Balance is correct, and all Leave Forms were received and is placed on record
    • Issue all relevant UIF Documentation to the Employee
    • Issue a Certificate of Service to the Employee
    • Closure of Employee File (electronic & hard copy)
  • Labour Relations
    Includes tasks such as documenting grievances, absences, terminations, compensation information, and performance reports related to disciplinary actions.
  • Keep the CCMA Register up to date
  • Keep the Disciplinary Register up to date
  • Assisting the HR Manager & Operational Management with all information needed to prepare for a CCMA or Disciplinary Matter
  • Following up with relevant Management to ensure that all Disciplinary related-documentation is received, signed and kept on record
  • Filing (electronic & hard copy) of all CCMA & Disciplinary related records

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience in Human Resource Administration
  • Strong knowledge of BCEA
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Decisive and accurate
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment
